Alu Clane Beorht (13 ABY) was born to Dark Jedi parents in the Sith Empire. Her father left when she was only a few months old. Alu was raised by her mother, the Sith governor of the Anari sector. The child of a Zeltron and a Twi'lek, Alu's skin is red.

When the SE broke apart, Iara became a warlord and later left the Anari Sector to fight the Xen'Chi, missing the SE's reunification. She took Alu with her in her travels, except on the more dangerous missions.

Since her parents are of different species, Alu's conception required advanced medical technology, and it is entirely possible that Sith alchemy was employed, with or without the knowledge of her parents.
