The Apocalypse-class Command Ship was one of the largest and most powerful capital ship in service in the navy of the Black Star Confederacy.

Shortly after the battle of Ida II, Confederacy High Command saw a need for a new type of command vessel to replace the aging Dread design. Famed designer Hikos Tel'Anh gathered a team including his daughter Daira Tel'Anh, and came up with the Apocalypse-class Command Ship. When first built, this vessel was the biggest warship ever constructed by the Confederacy, and ushered in a new era of warfare.

In 17 ABY, the decision was made to update all Apocalypse-class vessels to the slightly updated KCSh-2 version, which added an antimatter reactor and a BioComp.
