Description[]
The Aurora is the personal starship of the daring freighter captain, Kara Thrace. The vessel has been heavily modified from stem to stern allowing for more manueverability, faster acceleration, stonger shields and even more weaponry. The Aurora sports a top mounted Dual Blaster turret with 360 degree swivel and two turbo lasers mounted to twin dorsal fins at the front of the ship. All the guns are mounted into the ship's main computer from which Kara's co-pilot, an old R2 unit named Nimbus, can control them all simultaneously.
