The Basilisk-class Assault Fighter is a cutting-edge starfighter created by MandalMotors during the Xen'Chi War, the first prototypes of which entered service with the Mandalorians during the New Mandalorian Crusade. In homage to the Basilisk War Droid during the Mandalorian War, the Basilisk-class Assault Fighter is a piece of state-of-the-art equipment, designed to bring an entire arsenal of firepower upon the enemies of the Mandalorian Protectors.
Slated to be faster and more powerful than the New Republic's A-Wing starfighter, with slightly more protection than the E-wing starfighter, the Basilisk Assault Fighter is amongst the finest pieces of machinery to exceed 100 MGLT.
