The Battle of Delta Serpentis marked the initiation of the Sith Revolution, spearheaded by Darth Trayus. The purpose of the battle was two-fold; it was designed to both build up a fleet for Trayus to use against the Shadow Imperium and as a means to lure Ilan Garuda out of his place of residency. While Trayus was not expecting Garuda to present himself after but one battle, he was confident the following conflicts would grant him the chance to end Ilan's life once and for all.
The Battle[]
The Attack[]
When Darth Trayus and his forces dropped out of lightspeed at Delta Serpentis, there were but two space stations, one Sabaoth Destroyer, and two Nebulon-B Frigates on duty, alongside fighter support. The system had become easy picking for the Sith Lord and his forces, and the attack was relentless. Within minutes, the forces had been engaged and a boarding party, lead by Darth Invictus, had assaulted one of the two space stations.
The initial attack ended with the space station's fall to Trayus's forces, though conflict still spilled over its decks, the boarding of the second station, and the capture of the three capital ships on patrol.
Reinforcements[]
Before the initial attack was over, the then-untouched space station sent out a call for reinforcements to the Imperium's stronghold on Kiteras. The reinforcements did not arrive on time, however, for when they had the initial attack was won in Trayus's favor. When they dropped out of lightspeed in the region of space, the trap was sprung and, with the aid of the first station that was boarded, the Imperium's Star Destroyer and Acclamator were overwhelmed and captured.
