The Battle of Kalla VII marked the initiation of the Corporate Sector Rebellion. The rebellion, fueled by the Shadow Imperium and Sith Brotherhood alliance, aimed at toppling the current government and creating a new puppet government in its stead. On public record, the rebellion is nothing more than an uprising. However, to the officials on the side of the rebels, it is something much more sinister.
Kalla VII was the turning point and the signal sector-wide for the rebellion to commence. At the battle's end, several secure transmissions were sent sector-wide to commanders on different fronts. The Corporate Sector Rebellion had begun.
The Battle[]
The battle started with the order given by Modeth Veen, at Darth Sirena's word. When the rebels turned on the loyalists, a call for aid was given to the orbital forces. However, before they could respond by sending down their own forces, Recon Task Force dropped out of lightspeed to engage the Authority head-on.
Both battles were fierce, with both sides of the Authority losing several individuals. However, in the end, the Recon Task Force defeated the orbital defenses, forcing them into surrender, with no losses. This dropped the Authority's morale significantly on the ground, and the surrender on the surface followed.
The results of the battle sent forth the signal sector-wide, and rebellion spread like a wild-fire.
