The Battle of Obroa-Skai was the next battle in the New Mandalorian Crusade. It was to be a bloodbath, as the Xen'Chi were now well aware of what the Mandalorians were capable of, yet still underestimated the fierce warrior caste's strength and potential. There were heavy casualties on both sides of the battle, resulting in the Mandalorians' ferocity in the next target in their campaign.
The Battle[]
The Mandalorians did something different this battle, that is to say they charged into the system head-first. Aware the Xen'Chi were on to their plan, the plan was to blitz the defending forces and disallow them a chance to fight back.
Unfortunately, the plan only worked marginally. The fleet was pinned down, and was engaged in a bloody slugfest with the Xen'Chi. Meanwhile, the ground forces managed to break through the blockade and attack the ground positions, whereupon they succeeded and managed to take over a decommisioned ground turret. With some ingenuity and slap-together engineering, they were able to give it enough juice to fire a few well-placed shots into the Xen'Chi fleet, effectively turning the tide in the Mandalorians' favor in orbit.
