The Battle of Sardis Station marked the siege of Sardis Station by the forces of GAIT, in order to capture Garrett G. Granth the IV and seize control of the station's HoloNet transmitter.

The Battle[]

The battle occurred when a robotic vessel docked with the station. Loaded with assault droids and malicious programming, the droids, under the control of a GAIT-copy, hijacked almost every droid onboard Sardis Station, which already had a rather dismal safety record.

Garrett and Munroe were awoken by the bounty hunters Stan & Ran Horowitz (no relation) who not only warned them, but assassinated an assassin attempting to kill Garrett.

It was then that the Potnia arrived as back-up, deploying Alpha Squadron led by Jonas Reab and Morgana Okaya. The team had been sent to find Garrett after an attack on Cecils Moon.

After taking back control of the tertiary security of the station, the survivors went after the OIM, a highly advanced, mobile AI core that had been trying to take control of Sardis' formidable HoloNet transmitter.

With the help of the new arrivals on the Bloodlust, the survivors made it to the core. They expected to find the OIM trying to hack the transmitter, but instead found a clone of Garrett, escorted by Garrett's old assassin droid KZ-107, who seemed to be working for motives entirely of his own. With the other Garrett's intervention, GAIT's forces were quickly shut down (much to Skarrek's chagrin) and conditions started to return to normal.

There are still many questions that remain unanswered.
