The Battle of the Explorers was a minor skirmish between 20 Grey World gunships and 12 Confederate exploration vessels. Normally, a minor skirmish such as this would have been deemed insignificant; however, this battle initiated the bloody war known as the Grey Worlds Campaign.
The Battle[]
The battle began, when eight Explorator-class Exploration Vessels were ambushed by twenty Grey Worlds gunships. Unprepared for resistance, the pirates were routed at the loss of no Confederate vessels. The pirates themselves lost fully half their numbers.
