Early Life[]
Beast Boys powers manifested at a very early age. Due to his mutation Emmett become a vegetarian and is an avid supporter of PETA. Both his parents are alive and are world renowned experts of zoology. Emmett occasionally traveled with his parents to far off places to see the animals and learn about his mutation. Emmett's parents are extremely supportive of his choices in life and back him all the way. The family currently lives on a 63 acre preserve ;that they and the 36 volunteers maintain to rescue hurt animals and nurse them back to health.
Emmett is well versed in rescuing and nursing hurt animals back to health. His mutation was considered a god send by his parents because he was able to converse with hurt animals and then relay the information back to his parents.

- Terrestrial Metamorph: Beast Boy has the ability to morph into any animal he knows of. He can change into extinct animals and even animals from different planets. When he changes, it only takes a couple of seconds. It doesn't matter how big or small. He can change from a rat to a Hippo in seconds. It does not put strain on him to do this. He can stay in an animal's form indefinitely. He can take on the shape of animals without limbs such as snakes or worms. When he changes into an animal, he gains all that animal's abilities. He keeps his intelligence and humanity. Beast Boy is also able to shape shift into demonic animals. Beast Boy can also change into a hybrid, which has all the animals' powers rolled into one. He can't control this so he doesn't turn into a hybrid unless absolutely needed. As of late, he has demonstrated the ability to transform into animals many times larger than their actual forms: among others, he's been seen transforming into a human-sized tarantula and a giant snake.
- Animal Mimicry: Beast Boy has the power to mimic the abilities of any animal he knows of while he's in their form. The ability apparently gives him intuitive understanding of the animals and what abilities they have that may be useful in the situation.
