The Bulwark-class Battlecruiser was one of the largest warships ever used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. The Bulwark-class has extensive shield systems, a heavily armored hull capable of ramming through smaller ships, and a large complement of heavy guns as well as relatively spacious hangar-facilities. Its downsides are typically its electronics equipment as well as sensor systems, which have been reported to be unreliable.
Designed by TransGalMeg Industries, it is a successor-design to a Bulwark-class that was fielded during the Clone Wars. This model was typically used as a command ship in smaller Rebel fleets and was referred to as a "mobile fortress". Even after the formation of the New Republic, these ships still find use in Republic fleets across the galaxy.
