Academy Years

According to Jedi records, Cammean was born in 35 BBY on the planet Kuat. In 34 BBY, after the infant had been weaned and was beginning to walk, he was surrendered to the Jedi Order and admitted to the Jedi Academy. At this time the Order felt it imperative to rename the child, to that end his name was altered from Cammean Kuat to Cammean J’Rae Vestus.

As with all children at the Academy, the critical informative years of his life were spent with members of the Order whose sole responsibility was to nurture and direct the child’s path within the force. Under the constant watch of the Jedi Masters , Cammean was instructed in basic lightsaber and force techniques until at, age 11, he was chose to become a Padawan and apprentice under Jedi Master Sonora Nor.
