Battle Names[]
From now on, when making a battle that already has a name, please include in parenthesis the conflict. For instance, the Second Battle of Taylon would, in fact, be the Battle of Taylon (Xen'Chi War). The reason for this is because the Second Battle of Taylon is not part of the same conflict as the Battle of Taylon.
Any battles that do not have pre-existing names (such as the Battle of Concord Dawn) may remain as-is unless another battle is made of a different conflict.
Any battles with pre-existing names, of the same conflict, will have succeeding numbers. Such as the Battle of Mechis III and the Second Battle of Mechis III, as both take place during the Xen'Chi War.
If there is any confusion at all, do not hesitate to ask for clarification. I plan on renaming appropriate articles today, but it's not guaranteed. More likely than not, it won't happen until tomorrow or the weekend. If anyone wants to get cracking on it before me, be my guest.
When renaming these articles, however, be sure to rename the links in the articles that reference to them, as well. This is because the renamed battles' originating article (which will automatically provide a #REDIRECT tag in their place) will redirect, and we don't want that.
Again, if there is any confusion on this at all, feel free to ask for clarification, and I'll do my best. --Cadden Blackthorne 19:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
