Chil'a'Chin is the homeworld of the Xen'Chi, the outcast brethren of the Chiss. . A planet wrought with volcanic activity Chil'a'Chin is a planet full of harsh environment. There are only two seasons on the planet, neither of which is truly documented. The only difference in the two seasons can be told as to when the volcanic activity on the planet reaches a low point, allowing for the higher, non-volcanic peaks, to be covered in snow.

This harsh climate has bred some of the most vicious creatures in the galaxy including the Torat, a large armored cat like creature and the Larvir, another large predatory creature that resembles a wolf. There is only one native humanoid species on Chil'a'Chin, the Xen'Chi.
