Clan Blackthorne was a Mandalorian clan that took the center stage in the development of the Mandalorian Protectors in 15 ABY. It is unknown how long the clan had been present in Mandalorian society, but its significance was enough to be noted by Locke Rekkon, and hinted at the clan's importance in Mandalorian events of the past. Even as of 18 ABY, the exact involvement and age of this particular clan was virtually impossible to determine.
