Sergeant Lord Das Phelleps, Fifth Duke of Clarys on Isen, was a scion of a Force-strong noble house when he was picked for Dark Side training by Emperor Xal Shun in 10 BBY. His education included administration, diplomacy, statecraft and military command. At the age of 25, he became a Duke, inheriting his family estate on Isen, as well as a level of responsibility in Shun's administration and Force hierarchy.

His wife, children and grandchildren died in the Isen Civil War. During the course of the Bandit Kingdoms interregnum, Duke Phelleps lived as a fugitive guerrilla in the mountains of Isen. When Jade and Sandian forces conquered the sector, Ror threw his lot in with them. He returned to the Light Side and was one of the first Patriots; joining the Jade Empire Armed Forces, he eventually became a member of the elite Household Guard, though only after passing physical fitness tests that would cripple most men half his age. He was outfitted with the ComTac implant.

He was assigned to the Empress' protective detail during her trip to Kro Var. Some time later, he was permitted to go on extended leave as a semi-formal Patriot representative to the Temple of the Current.

Force Abilities[]

As a nobleman in Isen, Phelleps benefited from Dark Jedi training under Emperor Xal Shun. He is fully competant with the Core Powers and with Force Lightning, though he does not use it anymore. He also learned from Fire Shapers on Kro Var, and from Kalo-Kaa after his training with the Baran Do. As a result, he knows some Hassat-durr applications.

Phelleps' military designation is Sergeant, 4White.
