History

Luke Vance was born in the spring of 1969. Not much is known about his early years, save that when he became a toddler he was taken in by Weapon X and, through a variety of tests and experiments, his abilities shone easily. Vance eventually became known as Red Death, due to his uncanny killing streak.

Honed as an assassin and battle-hardened warrior, Red Death went on to leave the Weapon X program after Wolverine escaped the facility, and became a renegade and mercenary. He became wanted on several accounts of destruction of property, murder (though officials did not understand the meaning behind his subjects' deaths), and other generally violent crimes. Eventually, Red Death became a high figure on America's Most Wanted, regardless of his actions ultimately having good intentions.

At nearly twenty-eight years old, Red Death took on the name Deadpool after the Chren invasion. About seven years later, he reformed the X-Force, and the member counts fluctuated somewhat over the next three years.

Strength Level

Deadpool possesses superhuman strength, allowing him to lift two tons.

Superhuman Powers

  • Regenerative healing factor
    • Regenerate whole organs and even severed limbs
  • Superhuman strength, speed, endurance and agility
  • Psychic immunity
  • Instantaneous reflexes

Other Abilities

  • Expert marksman and swordsman
  • Master martial artist
  • Master tactician

Limitations

A side-effect to his regenerative healing factor, like the previous Deadpool, is that he holds an ADD-type personality, and is often borderline psychotic. However, unlike his predecessor, Deadpool has the ability to control these urges for the most part, but during high mental stress, his apparent insanity takes over.

Weapons

Deadpool carries with him a whole arsenal of weaponry, and is practically a walking army. In addition to his wide array of guns and blades, he also sports a teleportation device, allowing him to teleport out of, and sometimes into, trouble.
