The predecessor of the Black Star Confederacy, the Decuu Empire was founded by the alien race known as the Decuri some time before 2,200 BBY. Inventing the hyperdrive around 2,200 BBY, it existed as a spacefaring nation for approximately 1,200 years, eventually joining with the Fuller Republic in c. 1,000 BBY to become the Black Star Confederacy.
