The Eden Alliance was a fake term created by Traiger Poach to make the lost people of Cecil's Moon seem more of a force to be reckoned with when they met Grand Admiral Thrawn. It was something of an in-joke within the Space Patrol crew, and Pim Antillies personally thought it made them sound a bit stupid. However, the gambit worked and Thrawn, after some debate, gave the Alliance the modified Strike Cruiser Eidolon to continue their journey.
