Amuro Graywater is a Guardian type Jedi Knight for the Jedi Order. He has served with the Jedi for several years and is considered as a "Gray" Jedi among his peers. He has known to do things in an unorthodox way from the standard procedures that Jedi are required to do. He tends to stray from his Jedi teaching and do what he thinks is best for that situation. He has been called Qui as a nickname because he does thinks similar to how Qhi'Gon Jin a Jedi from the old Jedi order.
Amuro is skilled in many forms like, Ataru, Soresu, and Form V: Shien / Djem So. He has developed these abilities with his constant battling when he goes on missions that particularly Jedi related.
Amuro's best friend was a prior Stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire and now a mercenary for hire. His friend Lucius Brehk follows him everywhere he goes as they take on jobs to help out small planetary governments or other non-Jedi related missions. Lucius has brought up the point that Amuro has been passed up for Master many of times, and that Amuro has not seem to care or even attempt to pursue advancement in the Jedi Order. There isn't any definitive answer on why Amuro has stop caring about his Jedi training or why he constantly seeks out conflict and war, but soon Amuro will have to reach a crossroads in what he wants to do with his life. Some say the reason for Amuro's lack of heart toward the order has to do with the recent Xen War.
