The Forerunner-class Battlecruiser was designed in the mindset that the Cassaran Star Republic wanted to show the best it had to offer on first encounter meetings with other governments. This ship packs a punch and is capable of holding its own against ships much larger than it. It is not however designed for long engagements without support ships as it has a small fighter complement and most often travels without escort.
