As Outer Rim merchants forged relationships with high-end starship armor and shield system suppliers, the Hutt crime organization had to change their tactics. To continue unfettered piracy of the remote regions, (and to maintain profit margins) the Hutts commissioned a second ship from MandalMotors (the Scyk being the first) - a more capable, more heavily armored starship with significantly increased firepower over the Scyk, but without sacrificing too much of the maneuverability upon which Hutt pilots had grown to rely. The result was the G1-M4-C Dunelizard Fighter: a lean, muscular space craft with impressive agility, and a generous weapons loadout.
There are two styles of Dunelizard fighter; a slim, streamlined version with sweeping wings and a bulker, stronger version with a larger cockpit, both of which are designated as G1-M4-C models.
New Mandalorian Crusade[]
Upon the reunification of the Mandalorian Clans, Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne made the order to begin producing this fighter to serve as one of the many variants that the Mandalorians would use during the New Mandalorian Crusade.
