Gerred Garvin was born on Nubia, the home of Industrial Automaton, and from a very young age he showed an amazing aptitude for building droids. He started working for IA as soon as he was old enough to apply and quickly worked his way into the customizations department, specializing in applying modifications to the company's base models. He met his eventual wife, Tendra, on a company trip to Corellia. Gerred caught Tendra's eye after outplaying her at Sabacc and their relationship bloomed from that point onward.
