A surface-based, planetary defense turbolaser battery designed by Golan Arms. The HX.6 consists of six barrels arranged in a hexagonal pattern, giving the unit its nickname of Hex Battery. These barrels can fire in a variety of patterns to cover a large area.
The unit normally requires a crew of 10 to operate, and can fire one six-shot volley every six seconds. It has a fairly wide firing arc and excellent range, extending out to high orbit. The unit has no shields, but decent armor protection.
