Jessica Sterling (13 ABY) is a stunt pilot turned resistance fighter after her family was brutally murdered by the Knights of Ren. She narrowly escaped being killed herself by sneaking away for a performance. After the massacre of her family she joined the New Republic naval academy and became a fighter pilot. After graduation she was assigned to Green Squadron and quickly built up a reputation for being reckless and extremely lucky. She's a skilled pilot, a bit of a hotshot and overconfident and that tends to land her in hot water with her superior officer. Unbeknownst to her Jessica's skill is not entirely her own. Her father was a Jedi Padawan before the fall of the Republic. He survived Order 66 and later started a family, passing on his Force Sensitivity to his children. The reason Jessica can do the things that she does is because she sees things before they happen and can react to them faster than any normal human can. If you were to ask her, however, she would simply attribute it to luck.
