Jita Hangetsu (51 BBY) is the highest-ranking military officer in the Jade Worlds with the sole exception of the Shau'ghun. She is the most senior member of the Twelve.
As with many Jadeworlders, Admiral Hangetsu suffered extensive wartime injuries and opted for cybernetic replacements. Her ComTac functions as a base for more extensive cyborg gear that gives her a variety of information acquisition and processing capabilities. Her implants’ exact abilities are classified.
History[]
Jita served in the Clan Jaguar military for many years, then transferred to the Shau'ghunate Guard at the request of Keito Kaijus. She saw several more years of service, fighting against covert actions by merchant lords; her Black Ops experience is extensive. In 10 ABY, she retired her commission of Commodore (the old Jade Worlds equivalent of Admiral) and settled into a house on Kunli, where she survived the Uul'ba-Rai Crusade.
During the Black Star Confederacy's administration of the sector, Jita used old Clan and Guard contacts carefully, seeking to appear as nothing more than a retired veteran. When Halla Kitani Kaijus's marooned company requested removal from the jungles of Varunda IX, Jita arranged for it to take place under the noses of the Confederacy and even Governor Di'te. Later, she was instrumental in hiding Thormatar and creating the Committee to Restore the Shau'ghunate. Shortly after the sector was given to the Kartanin Dominion, Governor Shinobi Tugawa requested that Jita re-enlist to help lead the Guard.
Not much later, Jita threw her support behind Halla Kaijus and the Jade Worlds' independence. She personally oversaw Operation Overdue Justice, fighting Black Nova and the Bandit Kingdoms.
In early 17 ABY, she was given command of the first Sanchin-class Carrier , the Overwatch.
