A woman of seemingly limitless potential, Karria Shaann was as ruthless as her tongue. A member of the Crimson Guard since its reincarnation, she was dutiful and loyal to her cause, and had a cold, unwavering attitude.
As with other members of the Crimson Guard, Karria was trained extensively in martial arts and vibrostaff combat. She was amongst the most capable of warriors in the Shadow Imperium, and often considered by Keldon Tyfus to be more of a liability than an asset. However, Vex Salder assured the Imperium's Supreme Commander that her loyalty kept her in check.
Karria typically would not obey any other's instruction than her mentor and leader, Vex.
She was present during Darth Trayus's coup that resulted in the formation of the Crimson Empire. Like the rest of the Crimson Guard, she was reassigned by Tyfus as his personal bodyguard to provide a buffer between him and the Sith Lord. She was one of the few that expressed her displeasure in her new role, smelling trouble on the horizon that not even they could overcome.
Near the end of the War of Darkness, Karria joined the rest of the Crimson Guard in abandoning the Empire and fleeing to Yinchorr, where she began to further hone her skills as a combatant under Vex's supervision. She was determined to meet the expectations he had placed on the group in the wake of their actions.
