Rear Admiral Kel'sen'char was a squadron commander of the First Sector Fleet.
A former Admiral in the Imperial Durgasi Navy, he started a new career with the Confederate Defence Force after 14 ABY.
By 41 ABY, he was commanding a squadron of the First Sector Fleet from the Apocalypse-class Command Ship Audacious.
He was the cousin of Rear Admiral Tel'ber'char. His children, Toa'sen'char and Vil'sen'char, both joined the Navy when they were old enough, per tradition.

Kel'sen'char was born into the influential Char Clan on the planet Reznor, the capital world of the old Durgasi Empire. He joined the Imperial Durgasi Navy at age 18, and rose quickly in the ranks, and he was an Admiral by 14 ABY.
He famously surrendered at Setvan to Confederate forces, rather than see his men killed in a futile battle.
When the Durgasi Empire became a part of the Confederacy, he joined the Confederate Navy, and served as a chief tactical officer on board one of the smaller vessels between 14 ABY and 17 ABY. He joined the Loyalists during the Confederate Civil War, and was rewarded with the command of a frigate after the war ended.
By 41 ABY, he commanded a squdron of the First Sector Fleet.
