Khal is the longest tenured member of Ghost Squadron, and has reinvented it since the death of Walter Sames and nearly half its number at the Battle of Corellia. The squadron and Arunson serve on the Insidious under Gregory Dreskul. At the battle of Chil'a'Chin the squadron didn't lose one fighter, and helped provide cover for a set of shuttles that unleashed a virus on the homeworld that was designed to decimate the population. It never had a chance to be effective thanks to the refitted Cleansing crashing into the planet's surface, destroying any traces of it in the process. Neither Khal nor the squadron knows what it was they were delivering.
Khal was the wingmate and dear friend of Walter Sames for many years. Flying as Ghost Two he protected Sames' six for more than a decade, keeping both alive through far too many battles than either had any right to survive. A very affable man who is never too serious, Khal is the type of leader that will pop a joke, and spend a lot of time relating to his men. Single, he is never shy about picking up an attractive lady at a local bar.
