Kyle Turan began his life as the youngest-born son of King Phelric and Queen Andromeda. Born in 0 ABY, he is the youngest-born of his family. Being youngest-born, his duties as a Prince were minimal. His education was standard for a Prince, as he was schooled in the classics, philosophy, and warfare. He debated heavily the nature of good and evil with his mentors, and even wrote several treatises on the issue. His warfare training consisted of modern military tactics and weaponry, but also the ceremonial blade of Acedie, the llhasa. Many a quarrel was decided by duels between nobles using the llhasa, and Kyle had become a strong practitioner with the weapon. His mentors commented to both Kyle and his parents that he showed amazing apptitude with weaponry and combat, almost bordering on the line of precognition. The politics of the Tion Cluster and the Barseg system were complex and ruled by the Noble Houses of Barseg, with the House of Turan ruling for the past two centuries. It was during the current state of affairs in the galaxy that his father, the King, was murdered along with the rest of his family during a celebration of the King's birthday. Kyle was delayed in arriving at the ceremonies and was absent when the House of Furim took the throne via a coup d'etat. Kyle was lucky to escape in one of the House Guards Thor starfighters and flee the system, heading for parts unknown.
Flight from BarsegEdit
Following the assassination of his entire family on Barseg, Kyle fled in his ship and jumped to hyperspace. He ended up in New Republic space and headed to the Jedi Temple for assistance, hoping that his journey would be able to bring justice back to the people of Barseg and the rest of the Tion Cluster.
