Biography[]
Jedi Training and Experimentation[]
Not much is known about Max's early life except that he was born the brother of Adam Sage. The date of his birth is unknown as is his true age. At some point in history, after the Clone Wars, an unknown rogue jedi came upon a Max as a child. Although he was too young to remember he was often told that the man saved him from Jedi hunting inquisitors. The crazed Jedi took the boy as his apprentice and began to train him. After awhile the training began to get brutal. Max's master sought the strength to defeat the Sith and began to employ techniques learned from a strange pyramid holocron. Max was subjected to brutal tests and alchemical experiments. When he wasn't training the boy slept in the comfort of a cryogenic tube waking up to see an increasingly aging master throughout the process.
Rescued and Jedi Order[]
After an undetermined amount of time while he slept in stasis he dreamed. As he slept he dreamed. He dreamed that someone would come for him, someone would rescue him and bring him back tot he universe at large. That he could interact with others and converse with the sane. As he dreamed he sensed what he thought was his father and woke up in the arms of a man who looked much a young version of his father.. It was his brother, Adam Sage. Max's master was long dead and the boy had slept for a long time, his brother had heard his dreams calling out for freedom and responded.
For a time Max was trained by Adam in the ways of the Jedi until he was Knighted. Max was vigilant at Sage Manor taking up the families cause and growing close to even the surrogates of the family. Shortly after his knighthood it was suggested he take a padawan. He choose his cousin Felicity Sage.
Sages Destiny and the Battle of Ruusan[]
The increase in Darksiders saw the advent of a Task Force to hunt them. Max Sage was at many battles with the Task Force and fought furiously. Although he was a Jedi and the brother of the Task force leader it wasn't until the Battle of Ruusan that he was thrust into the forefront.
