- "There is no such thing as justice. All that matters is protecting what’s yours."
- — Mogon Kor
Mogon Kor was a former New Republic naval officer with a promising career ahead of him until the tragic deaths of his wife and young daughter by an unknown assassin changed his destiny forever. Mogon fell into a deep depression and was soon drummed out of military service after several reports of mood swings and angry outbursts against those under his command. At his lowest point he was found by the Cult of Shadow and recruited into their ranks with a promise of vengeance against his family's killer. While a part of the cult, Mogon tapped into the Dark Side of the Force for the first time and had his once noble ideals twisted into dark reflections of their original intent.
Mogon's powers and brilliant strategic mind soon saw him rise up through the cult to become its Supreme Commander, a unique rank which gave him authority over all of the cult's forces except the Inner Circle Dark Lords and the Dark Master himself, Sivter. Mogon also showed a particular aptitude for Battle Meditation, somehow being able to apply it on such an advanced level that he was capable of doing other things while using it. These unique abilities usually meant he could be found in charge of the cult's flagship, the Edict of Darkness, while Sivter was off pursuing other matters.
Mogon and the Edict were a truly fearsome combination on the battlefield during the latter stages of the War of Darkness and it took several allied armadas at the Battle of Arcanix to finally bring it down - or so it was believed. Rather than be destroyed, Mogon made it appear as though the ship had blown up, but in reality he accomplished a risky jump to Otherspace to escape the battle. He used the cult facilities there to repair the Edict and waited for word from Sivter.
When Mogon eventually learned that Sivter and the Cult of Shadow had been defeated and destroyed, he renounced his own cult membership and decided that it was a sign to enact his own plans. In a bid to force the New Republic and the Empire to unite against a common threat, Mogon began attacking supply convoys with the Edict and planned to eventually unleash a cult superweapon still stuck in Otherspace. He was stopped in his pursuits by Isis Sinclair and her friends, who found information that the cult had assassinated Mogon's family just to bring him into the fold.
Devastated by the news, Mogon sent Isis and the others away and apparently sacrificed himself, along with the Edict, to destroy the superweapon before it could be unleashed.
History[]

Mogon Kor in his younger days.
Mogon was born in 20 BBY on the planet Rendili. Growing up among the militaristic culture of the planet, and hearing of all the stories about the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the Empire, Mogon became determined at an early age to join what would become the New Republic and uphold the ideals it stood for. Upon being granted admittance to the Beruss Military Academy on Corellia, Mogon proved himself to be an apt student and received numerous commendations during his time there. He ended up becoming one of the most decorated students in the academy’s history and graduated with honors; a promising career in the New Republic Navy ahead of him.
Skills[]
Lightsaber Forms[]
Mogon learned mostly defensive forms since, as a Seer, his power was not in fighting a physical battle. He was proficient in Soresu mostly to keep himself safe. He chose to master Niman as it was the only style that incorporated elements from all of the other classical styles save Form VII. Focusing on Niman, instead of several different styles, allowed Mogon to better hone his Force powers.
Force Powers[]
Aside from the Core Powers, Mogon's abilities in the Force centered mostly around non-physical powers. His greatest skill was in Battle Meditation, which helped to elevate him to his position of Supreme Commander. Like Battle Meditation, Mogon's powers generally complimented his role as a commander and tactician. He was also well-versed in Battlemind, Farsight, Comprehend Speech, and Drain Knowledge.
