Moriana Valara, also known as Kerathan Arguli, Kash'ar Kosh and many other names besides, was the founder of both the Tak Council of the Black Star Confederacy and the Chosen of Kosh. Long thought dead, she re-emerged in 18 ABY, and again in 41 ABY.

History[]

Early History[]

Little is known about Moriana Valara's early history. It is known that she was born before 24,500 BBY, as she was a member of the Legions of Lettow. After the Great Schism, she disappeared from records.

She appeared at least once in every age, choosing the side of freedom. Despite her status as a Renunciate, she often sided against the Sith. She very rarely appeared in her real form, or using her real name, and even rarer fought enemies. Her influence was much more subtle - training future heroes, preventing a raid that would have killed someone who years later prevented a massacre, and more along those lines.

The Tak[]

Sometime around 2,000 BBY, Moriana came across the Decuri species. Recognizing several Force-sensitives among them, she took advantage of their religion, presenting herself as Kerathan Arguli, and founding the Order of the Tak Lords and its premier adherents, the Tak Council. She taught the Tak everything she knew, before leaving Decuri space in 1,800 BBY.

The Chosen of Kosh[]

Moriana had been aware of the Mnggal-Mnggal for millienia, but around 1,800 BBY it began to pose a serious threat to the Galaxy and her beloved Decuri. As a result, she took to the stars and began battling the creature wherever she could.

To aid her, she took the name of Kash'ar Kosh, recruited Force-sensitives from across the Unknown Regions and Outer Rim and taught them how to battle Mnggal-Mnggal and the other threats that existed in the Unknown Regions. In time, they became the Chosen of Kosh.

Appearance[]

Moriana usually appeared to be a female near-human, possibly of Sephi origin, of some thirty years of age, with green and violet eyes and auburn hair. She had been known to change her appearance according to the situation, however (see Powers).

Powers[]

A great many powers were attributed to Moriana Valara. Among them were the ability to shift form at will, to teleport, the ability to see possible futures and how to influence them to get the future she preferred, and an uncanny ability to understand and speak any language, even those of beasts.

She also knew a number of offensive abilities, such as the ability to produce flame and fireballs, or just make her enemies burst into flames. She also had various means of incapacitating opponents without deadly force, such as inducing extreme nausea or sleep or even causing them to lose consciousness.

Her defensive abilities included barriers and simply absorbing damage.
