The N-1 Mk II is a collaborative effort between Theed Enginnering and Sienar Corporation.. Addressing the need of a starfighter capable of defending against pirates Sienar Corporation went forward in presenting a replacement for Naboo’s aging N-1 Fleet that has been in use since before the Clone Wars. All development costs have been absorbed by Sienar and a lot of the technology Sienar is known for has went into this starfighter. Utilizing the same laser cannons found within the TIE Defender and an upgraded Warhead launcher the starfighter is capable of utilizeing just about any missile type from Concussion Missiles Proton Torpedos up to the heaviest missile types. Within the ship keeping the same traditional N-1 look within the technology targeting computers have had a serious overall and are under contract for the latest in upgrades directly from Sienar. The Starfighter is slightly larger to house the larger powerplant and maintain structural integrity of the new engines.. In combat in the use of an experienced pilot this starfighter should be capable of handleing it’s own against the current ships fielded by the New Republic and Imperial Navies.
