Jedi Knight Norun Tarkash was a direct descendant of Dorman Tarkash and the father of Nissha and Siobhan Tarkash. He was raised by his mother, Imogen, who trained him to become a Jedi.

In 1 BBY, he met Kaela Moruun. They had their first daughter, Nissha, in 1 ABY, married in 2 ABY, and had their second daughter, Siobhan, in 3 ABY.

Norun and Kaela joined the New Jedi Order in 5 ABY. Norun was 40 years old. He chose to train Nissha as his first Padawan, and began her training in 11 ABY.

He trained Nissha for seven years, until he was mortally wounded in a fight with Zaara Archin in 18 ABY, where Nissha, Aldar Melron, and Mira Keen also participated. With his last breath, he asked Aldar Melron to continue Nissha's training. Aldar promised to do so.
