The Prowler-class Reconnaissance Vessel is a spy ship for the New Republic built by the Republic Engineering Corporation.
The Prowler-class shares designs with the smaller Ferret-class but carries less stealth systems and equipment. Ships of this class are meant to gather information about enemy assets and positions for a prolonged period of time, keeping a distance, while still utilizing the Ferret-class's baffled drive and chemical thrust.
The Prowler-class is equipped with more missiles than the Ferret-class in addition to a decoy package. It requires six crewmembers to operate.
