Rave is a clone of the Dathomiri Nightsister Sira Ves, who was a founding member of the Detori Order.
History[]
Rave was cloned, along with several others, by Quinis Asanis in the Anari Alliance. Her cloning was the rough kind: instead of a Spaarti cylinder, Rave was gestated naturally by a surrogate mother. The infants were kept in a lab on Anari until Jalyn rebels destroyed it. The staff killed all of the Ves clones except Rave; she was rescued by the rebels.
Rave grew up in the Jalyn Cluster. After the Anari Alliance was conquered, a Jedi group called the Paladins found Rave and took her in. One of the Paladins, a former Detori named Serrena, fell to the Dark Side and used her Sith training to recall the spirit of Sira Ves and instill it in Rave. Serrena was in turn killed by her father, Inquisitor Seren Mordavo, who exorcised Ves from Rave's body and took the Nightsister into his own.
Seren and Rave traveled together until his death in the Isen Star Empire, deep in the Unknown Regions. She was taken in by Empress Aerianna Shun until she died; during the Isen Civil War, Rave stayed hidden as best she could. She entered the foster care system for a few years, but left when discovered by Lord Ciribal. After Ciribal left the Jade Empire to join the Cult of Shadow along with Siriss Cortann, Rave struck out on her own at the ripe old age of eleven. She had a brief encounter with the Sith Brotherhood and nearly joined, but in the end opted against it.
Abilities[]
Rave remembers being possessed by the Dark Master Sira Ves, and knows how to do many things that are not safely within her power. She uses the Dark Side in the fashion of a Nightsister, humming and singing to produce most effects. She usually does not need to do so.
When she began traveling with Seren, the Inquisitor gave her an ancient bronze sword containing the spirit of a long-dead Dark Side magician named Kelbiiro. The spirit is quite content to remain within the sword and dream, but will help the sword's bearer when necessary. This results in a temporary amplification of the bearer's connection to the Force. Kelbiiro serves as a mentor to Rave from time to time, whenever it suits his fancy. Rave wears the sword on her back.
Personality[]
Considering that Rave's young life has been punctuated by the death of everyone she's ever looked up to, she avoids relationships of any kind so as to keep others safe. Although traumatized by Ves' possession of her body, Rave is mostly stable.
Having had an adult in her head for some time, Rave is not your typical preteen.
