Rhiannon DeVij was the leader of the Tak Council since 9 ABY.
History[]
A member of the DeVij Family, the old Imperial Family of the Decuu Empire, Rhiannon was taken from his parents at the age of 7, and trained in the Tak tradition by Lady Ravra Ornil, then leader of the Tak.
In 10 BBY, he met and befriended Baen Talal, the apprentice of Lord Cordan Kadal.
In 4 BBY, he returned to his homeworld to say his final goodbyes to his dying mother, Maryn. He left before the funeral.
In 9 ABY, he became leader of the Tak after the death of Ravra Ornil in a fight against slavers.
It was DeVij who decided to reveal the Tak Council to Emperor Thorn. Since then, he spent his days on Dieron, training the new batch of Tak. After his apprentice, Kaleth Torull, was promoted to Tak Blade, he took on Talia Brunesi as his apprentice.
In 17 ABY, he briefly visited the Jade Empire, alongside Ciaron Tan'ar, Talia Brunesi and Emarin Cronos, to help that nation track down a group of dangerous Dark Siders. Later, he and the rest of the Tak hosted a convention between Force users. Shortly after the end of the convention, he took Aniesi Tigris and Ogranis Sellkin as his apprentices in addition to Brunesi.
By 41 ABY, his Apprentices had long since become Lords, and he was training a new Apprentice, Astyn Colryn.
Known Force Powers[]
Rhiannon mastered many Force techniques, including Animal Friendship, Battlemind, Battle Meditation, Battle Precognition, Electric Judgment, Farsight, Force Absorb, Force Cloak, Force Concealment, Force Deflection, Force Healing, and Hibernation Trance. He was also a powerful telepath.
Rhiannon also mastered the unique Tak technique known as Force Flame.
