The great grandson of King Veruna the last king of Naboo who left office after a dispute withDamask Holdings ownerHego Damask . His maternal grandfather was Ian Lago. The first born son of Garlen Lago, the current representative of Deeja Peak to the Royal Advisory Council. Romivan was born in mountain city of Deeja Peak 3 years after the tragic murder of Queen Apailana and her jedi proctors a event that brought his father Garlen into prominence in Deeja being elected as Mayor of Deeja in 18 BBY. In late 18 ABY Romivan's father contacted Rytil Mire'' to negotiate an arranged marriage for the Governor illegitimate daughters Annora's hand in marriage.The two men quickly worked out a deal seeing the political benefits of such a union Romivan quickly agreed to the deal setting off for Angles Haven to meet his future brideonly to be turned away by Medstar staff who did not want his money or to tell him where Dr. Mire' was.
Undaunted Romivan returned home to Naboo prefering to go through her father, to initate the first contact. However a bump in the road occured when it became apprent that Annora had already married a corelliean Jedi by the name ofMace Halcyon. This time the Lagos would take matters into their own hands by contesting the legitiamcy Annora marriage on the gournds of having a prior contract wtih her father. The case is currently in Naboo High Court.

Near the end of the 19 ABY election for Representative of Kardrra a poem appeared causing Lago negative attention right before the election. Though it caused him to loose his huge lead against his opponent he still managed to eek out a victory. Some claim it was Annora Mire, while others swear Jasmine Carde' Avodale paid for the poem and having it leaked, no one knows who or how just the over all embarrassment caused to Lago and his name.
