The SF-6S Annihilator is the spiritual successor to the Old Sith Empire's F-T6 series of starfighters. This fighter was developed to provide long range support for the Genocide-Class Heavy Bombers during fighter assault on targets. As such it is equipped with a hyper drive and has a heavier weapon load then then Mk-XI Interceptors.
These fighters also sport a heavier shielding system then the Mk-XIs. It dose sacrifice armor protection to help maintain its high speed and maneuvering though but the shields should make up for any loss in durability when compared to the other fighters of the fleet.

Cluster Missile Launcher[]
Mounted on the sides of the fuselage, these 3-tube launchers fire 3 high speed/maneuverable projectiles at the target each. Each missile has a short range but a very short lock on time and simply causes kinetic damage when striking the target. The weapon system is best used against other Starfighters or unshielded lightly armored craft.
