The Sea of Lamenting Souls is an asteroid field created by the destruction of an uninhabited planet thousands of years ago. Commander Kai'to Musashi and a task force from the Shau'ghunate Guard Explorator Corps mapped it between 12 ABY and 13 ABY. Mining operations were undertaken in 15 ABY.
