The Second Battle of Hoth was initiated when Imperial Captain Ansara Bansari kidnapped the leader of the Red Star Alliance, Talon Karde, shortly after the battle of Endor. A combined RSA and allied fleet assaulted Bansari's Star Destroyer that was was reinforced by three full Imperial fleets led by Sylkud Braniard, James Ardin, and Teradoc, and the battle was joined.
Ket Maliss managed to rescue Karde under the watchful eye of Delth Ardin and Bansari but the RSA fleet was decimated and it would never prove to be a serious threat to galactic stability again.
