"Duum motir ca'tra nau tracinya."
— Reciting a phrase in Mando'a.

The Shadow Warriors were an elite group of one dozen Mandalorians whom performed commando-esque duties for the Mandalorian Protectors. Focusing on combat behind enemy lines, they were the first into a hot, sticky situation, and usually the last to leave. It was created by Mandalore Cadden Blackthorne shortly after the Battle of Gargon, with Kyr Aden in mind as their leader.

The Shadow Warriors proved their mettle several times in their recent history, most notably in the Battle of Mandalore and the Battle of Bandomeer, where members of this elite group took central roles in ensuring Mandalorian victory against the Xen'Chi. In the Battle of Mandalore, they fought hard against the Xen'Chi, helping to press back their offensive grip against the planet. Both before and during the Battle of Bandomeer, their role was essential to Mandalorian victory, where they recruited local resistance members and secured the communications center on Bandomeer to ensure the Xen'Chi could not report the Protectors' advance.

Each member of the Shadow Warriors were primed for combat, considered one of the best groups of warriors the Protectors had to offer. Their reknown skyrocketed when Kyr was selected as the leader of the elite of the elite, the Mandalorian Spectres.
