The T2-B Repulsor Tank is a light assault tank utilized best as a scout or patrol vehicle. The vehicle is one of several designs that was acquired by the Alliance from a splinter group within Yutrane-Trackata. It is now being manufactured under the banner of the Republic Engineering Corporation for the New Republic.
Based on the designs for the T2-A tank, this vehicle measures nine meters in length, and is armed with four laser cannons. This light armament, in addition to variable-traction repulsorlift engines (which allow it to maneuver over a variety of terrains, including water and mud), often relegates the T2-B to spotter duty.
