The TL-18 Luxury Vessel can be considered one of the strangest attempts ever to produce a luxury/transport vessel as it combines aspects from the T-42 Transport Vessel and the L-80 Luxury Yacht. The result is a vessel with 16 cargo areas, each with fully controllable atmosphere, gravity, and lighting. This allows an abundance of high quality, fresh dishes to be served at the luxury dining room located on the top rear of the vessel. The room is covered by an opaque-able transparisteel dome, allowing magnificent views of stars, planets, nebulae, and other galactic wonders.
There are crew quarters and a bridge located to the front of the vessel. Additionally, 2 large suites and 12 smaller rooms are available for passengers interested only in the best. The suites can handle up to 10 people, if outfitted correctly, and contain a small dining area, a bedroom, a living room, and a refresher, as well as a small office. The regular rooms carry 4 people in each and are partitioned into two room each containing one king size bed or two twin sized beds. All rooms contain a holoprojector. Bathrooms and showers are of course available as well. If attacked, the TL-18 has 4 concealed laser cannons to use until assistance can arrive or hyperspace can be reached. There are several other rooms that can be configured to a variety of purposes by the owner of the craft.
One of the most unique aspects of the craft is its ability to literally link with another craft of the same type. While typically just a single level (with maintenance accessways above and below) ship, it has the capacity to link with two other TL-18's to increase its carrying capacity, variety of dishes, and/or entertainment capabilities. This will work with with, at most, two other TL-18's. This does render several laser cannons unusable. However, it also requires less crew when linked, leaving additional room for cargo in the normal crew quarters.
