Tamzar Ranox started life in the sprawling megatropolis world of Coruscant. The son of two wealthy industrialists on the chief world of the galaxy he was assured the best of everything while growing up and beyond. He was only a child when the Galactic Empire came to dominance in the galaxy and was captivated by the PR machine that Palpatine used to sway the public behind his plans for the galaxy. At once he knew he wanted to join the military and fight to keep the galaxy safe from all the enemies that the Empire used to justify it's often brutal actions.

As soon as he came of age, Tamzar joined the Imperial ground forces acadamy where he excelled at his officer training and entered service shortly before the debacle at Endor. Due to the high loss of experienced officers at that battle Tamzar found himself ascending the ranks quicker than he might have, and within a matter of a couple of years had reached the rank of Colonel.

During the years following the battle of Endor Ranox spent almost a year on the world of Naboo, as part of Palpatines strengthening program of that world.

His last asignment had put him on a mission that was highly classified and no sign has been seen of him since.
