Amphibious Physiology: Though not overtly visible, Lorna possesses a set of gills, which allows her to extract oxygen from the surrounding environment enabling her to breathe underwater. Lorna can also breathe in an oxygen/nitrogen atmosphere, but only for limited periods of time.
Superhuman Speed: Lorna can run and move at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete. Her speed is greatest, however, while swimming.
Superhuman Stamina: Lorna's advanced musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of normal human beings, and most other Atlanteans for that matter. Lorna's stamina, much like her strength, steadily declines the longer she is out of contact with water and will diminish to the point where she only had slightly greater stamina than the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Agility: Lorna's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.
Superhuman Reflexes: Lorna's reflexes are similarly heightened and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.
Dimensional Travel: Lorna has the ability to travel between her native world of Dimension Aqua and the Earth realm. Her aptitude with this power has not always been consistent, and there have been occasions when Lorna has been forced to find an alternate recourse for crossing the barriers.
Hydrokinesis: Lorna possesses the ability to increase the density of water within her immediate vicinity for a wide variety of effects. This ability allows her to create "hard water" objects, reshaping volumes of water into simple geometric shapes. Lorna commonly uses this power to create water missiles, which she projects towards a selected target, as well as twin swords which she in incredibly adept at wielding.
Superhuman Durability: The tissues of Lorna's body are much harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of normal human beings and most other Atlanteans. She can withstand tremendous impact forces, high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury though it is still possible to injure her.
Superhuman Strength: Because of her powerful physiology her strength far exceeds that of humans allowing her to utilize this strength above water to topple obstacles and opponents. While Lorna is adequately hydrated she is capable of lifting 75 tons (although prolonged surface activity could reduce her strength).
Telepathy: Lorna possesses a limited degree of telepathy, which allows her to communicate with other Atlantean beings. Unlike Aquaman or Namor however, Lorna cannot use this ability to communicate with lower order marine life.
Tempest must return to water after a period of time or she will weaken.
