The Third Battle of Kuras IV took place in 18 ABY. During this battle, the forces of the Scautus Order faced opposition by both the rebel forces of the Kuras Tetrarchy and their allies, the Muir Commonwealth. Meanwhile, Mortrassa Trinivii Jian and his vessel, the Profiteer, sought to capture the pirate Whit Solomon, who was working with the Kuras Tetrarchy at the time.

The Scautus Order was defeated, although the agent Rakka escaped the conflict in the Augur, and the Ranth soldiers switched sides to oppose the Order during the battle. The Eagle Eye, captained by Miles Bernard, was lost with all aboard. Mortrassa did not achieve his goals, but Solomon escaped in the Freeborn Knave and departed the Kuras System.
