The Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser is the forerunner of the Immobilizer 418 Interdictor Cruiser. Designed to serve as a front line ship during the height of Palpatine's reign, these ships are often deployed when Imperial Star Destroyers are unavailable to respond to threats to the stability of the Empire.
The ship stands at 600 meters in length and wields a mighty 78 weapons emplacements. These weapons include 25 light turbolasers, 20 light quad turbolasers, 10 point defense laser cannons, 20 point defense ion cannons and 3 tractor beam projectors.
The ship is also equipped with a class 2 hyperdrive, carries 400 troops, and needs a crew of 2,551 to run it. Most Vindicators are also configured to carry a full wing of TIE's and operate independently without the need of support ships.
