The Wavecrest Hotel is one of the finest hotels on Chandrila, located on the outskirts of Hanna City along the coast of the Silver Sea. It has been owned by the Roviditian Family for centuries, with the most current owner being Trai Roviditian. The hotel is considered to be a resort destination for tourists to the planet, with a top-rated restaurant, also called the Wavecrest. Additionally it has an in-house casino with a variety of games available to play and bet on.
In early 19 ABY the hotel was used as a secret staging area for guests attending The Wedding of Kalja Sairu Leidias and Delth Ardin. The secrecy was intended to help prevent the wedding being crashed by the many enemies of the couple.
Kalja and Delth were able to rent out the entire hotel thanks to being friends with Trai, who gave them an enormous discount due to how often they had helped to save the galaxy. Trai was able to recoup the losses from this discount by also getting a stipend from the Chandrilan government - with the reason being that by helping to keep the wedding secret, he was also keeping Chandrila safe from being attacked.
